Trippy

I just returned from a trip to the crazy, hectic and awesome NYC, the city I always return to. This time my employer was the main sponsor of the trip. All in all we were 11 coworkers who went. Professional development is very important where I work, and where do you learn English better than in an English-speaking environment?

Apart from sightseeing, such as going to Ellis Island and the Guggenheim Museum (where we were too tired to watch the exhibition, we just took the elevator to the top floor, sat on a bench, talked and laughed.. haha), we had the privilege of visiting two different schools and attending a couple of classes. Very stimulating!

One of the best parts with the trip was that I had the opportunity of explaining many of my beliefs to my coworkers, and most of them were genuinely interested. There is no better feeling than standing up for your faith.

In December I will start regular auxiliary pioneering again, yay! However, I'm quite nervous because I work so much. On the other hand, as long as I trust and stick to my schedule, I'm sure I'll do fine.

What excites me too is that our Kingdom Hall is almost finished. Much has happened the past two weeks, and I'm very eager to experience it all.

Fortunately there is only six weeks left until next vacation and it seems like holidays are what I'm looking forward to these days. Says a lot about the pressure at work I guess.

Well, time to go. Until next time, when hopefully I'll have a post on humor and absurdity... :)
